I wanted to thank aposak specifically for the contribution of that horrible bottle of mezcal to shots of consequences [and the melon, too, but mostly the mezcal]. I seriously can't beleive a single person got that down, but several, several people did. Just smelling it in the room the next day was enough to make me nauseous.

Like I said, we owe you a favor.

Like I always say when dealing with any Radio Spy project: choose wisely. And if you vomit, you are disqualified.

I plan on making a post about the whole event, but I is lazy, and it's nice out.

Radio Spy needs your help! [07 Mar 2005|10:43am]

We're going to try to run some form of shots of consequences at the Frolicon party at Fantasm.

This means we need cheap, disgusting, vile liquor.

If you have some cheap, disgusting, vile liquor at your house that you *know* you'll never drink, or that you'd like to donate to the cause, please let us know. You could even, in the name of torturing the not-so-innocent, go out and buy us a cheap bottle of liquor and drop it by [we're talking the $13 jug on the bottom shelf]. We'll owe you a favor. You know you want one. It's like a canned food drive, but better. We'll take pictures. They might include nudity.

Please comment or call. We're leaving Friday, so it would be good to have it by then. After friday, you can give your donations to devilturnip - make sure you let him know they're for us.

Also, where does one find a cheap plastic mildly realistic pretend handgun? I don't need anything fancy, but I don't want a neon green watergun - just something gunlike, gunonic, gunesque.

Radio Spy Amalgamated Presents BLACKOUT! [18 Aug 2003|11:09am]

Despite a little stress from being double booked and setting up shared equipment at the last minute, the resurrection of Blackout turned out great. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take HALF of the pictures I would have liked to, but, here's what we've got. [If anyone has pictures of the evening that they'd like to share, PLEASE e-mail them to blackout @ radio-spy.org]

Thanks everyone for coming out!

I hope you had half as good a time as I did!

Mystery Shots - OF CONSEQUENCES!!!! Winners [15 Aug 2003|02:28pm]

Equipment: 6 bottles of liquor we didn't really want to drink. [99 Bananas, 151, Absente, Gin, Bailey's, and Whiskey in a plastic jug] bokonendeemax graciously donated a 7th [Razzmatazz]. We threw in a bottle of Tabasco sauce for good measure. Four plastic shot glasses. Slips of paper with the names of the available constituent ingredients. A chinese take-out box.

Purpose: To give away free alcohol in the most unpleasant manner possible. Alcohol research.

Procedure: We put the slips of paper in the box. The first time a person came up, they drew a slip of paper out of the box, and took a shot of whatever was on the slip of paper. The second time they came up, they drew two slips of paper, and drank a shot of those two, mixed together. If you made it to the last shot, which was everything mixed together, you won a prize and got your picture taken. Vomit constituted immediate disqualification. Careful notes were kept.

The experimenters [just visualize Jon, behind the camera]

The shots made some people belligerent.

Winner #1 - Kevin - He very nearly won TWICE.

Winner #2 - Emily? Elizabeth? Emily Elizabeth? Does she have a big red dog? We may never know. All we DO know is that this little girl can drink the pants off YOU.

Winner #3 - bokonendeemax

Winner #4 - Rob

Winner #5 - afromunkee in the Megacolon.

Winner #6 - Tom, who went on to make an ass of himself later in the night by trying to fight EVERYBODY.

And here's Seth. He didn't win anything. In fact he pussed out on the second shot.

Ok, nevermind. Keep stealing monkeys. I'm sure we can figure out something to do with them.
